It is hidden but always present.
I don't know who gave birth to it.
It is older than the concept of God.

ס'איז געשריבן געווארן דורך Laozi) Lao Tzu) אין כינע אין די 4th century BC (אדער אין די 6th century BCE וואס איז איבער צוויי אהאלב טויזענט יאהר צוריק.) די שורש דערפון איז עלטער (אפשר 7th century BCE). ער רעדט מיט גרויס עהרע צו די masters פון די דורות ראשונים וואס Taoism קומט לכאו' פון זיי (פרק טו)

The ancient Masters were damn impressive. They were deep. Real deep. Words can’t even begin to describe how deep they were. You can only talk about how they acted. They were careful, like a man walking on thin ice. They were cautious, like a soldier behind enemy lines. They were polite, like a guest at a party. They moved quickly, like melting ice. They were as plain as a block of wood. Their minds were as wide as a valley, and their hearts as clear as spring water.

מיט יעדעס מאל מ'לערנט עס - קען מען פארדינען א נייער דערהער.

כ'טראכט פון ארויפברענגן טעגליך איין פאומע על הסדר, דורך צוויי טרענסלעישאנס.

The nameless is the boundary of Heaven and Earth.
The named is the mother of creation.

Freed from desire, you can see the hidden mystery.
By having desire, you can only see what is visibly real.

Yet mystery and reality
emerge from the same source.
This source is called darkness.

Darkness born from darkness.
The beginning of all understanding.

Tao doesn’t have a name.

Stop wanting stuff;
it keeps you from seeing what’s real.

and you’ve got it made.

די ווערטער וואס האבן בולט געווען ביים דורכליינען די Tao te ching זענען:
..Renounce /give up / letting go /empty yourself / detache / don't interfere / don't try to control / don't waste energy
דאס גיבט שוין א ריכטונג איבער די השקפה פון לאו דזע.

די זאצן הערן זיך ראדיקאל און קאונטער-אינטואיטיוו פאר אונז, פראדוקטן פון די וועסטערן עדיוקאציע סיסטעם און וועלט-בליק:

Give up sainthood, renounce wisdom,
And it will be a hundred times better for everyone.

Give up kindness, renounce morality,
And men will rediscover filial piety and love.
אדער:
Give up learning, and put an end to your troubles,
און נאך און נאך אויף די שטייגער.

אונז זענען פארנומען זיך צו באמיען, שפייען בלוט און שווייס אן אויפהער צו מאכן פראגרעס, צו פארבעסערן אונזער לעבן און צו פארבעסערן זיך אליינס, מען פראבירט צו טוישן די געזעלשאפט, פארעכטן די וועלט, פראגרעסירן דאס מענטשהייט, איינעמען נאטור. לאו דזע זאגט דאס פארקערטע: לאז גיין, פראביר נישט טוישן, און אלעס וועט פאלן אויף זיין פלאץ.

צו פארשטיין דאס דארף מען פארשטיין זיין השקפה אויף נאטור פונעם מענטש און נאטור פונעם וועלט. די מענטש אין זיין אמת'ע נאטור איז גאנץ. מושלם. ער איז געבוירן אזוי און עס פעלט אים גארנישט. נישט נאר די מענטש נאר אלע זאכן אויף דער וועלט און אויך דער יוניווערס אליין, אלעס איז מושלמ'דיג און דארף נישט קיין תיקן, guidence וכדומה. פארוואס? וויבאלד אלעס איז אן Manifastation פונעם Tao. די Tao איז שווער צו דעפינירן און לאו דזע ווארנט אָן אין אנפאנג בוך אז באמת עס צו דעפינירן אויף א קאנצעפטואלע לעוועל איז נישט מעגליך. מען קען אנאליזירן און שטודירן אבער דאס צו ארויסהאבן איז אויף א עקספיריענטאלע לעוועל וואס איז Beyond מיינד און קאנצעפט. מען קען זאגן אז דאס איז די אונטערליגענדע אינטיליגענציע/ consciousness פון די וועלט און אלעס אין איר איז אן ענימאציע פון עס און אלע קערן זיך צום סוף צוריק צו עס. (מען קען אפשר ציען פאראלעלס צו Brahman אין הינדאואיזם, אדער אין סוף אין קבלה). אלזא אונז זענען בעצם דאס אין אונזער אמתע נאטור. די ציל איז דערפאר צו פאר א מענטש צו אנערקענען זיין נאטור און דעמאלט לעבן אין הארמאניע מיט די קאסמישע אינטיליגענציע הנקרא Tao און עס פלוסט דורך אים און ער לעבט ספאנטאניש, סימפל און נאטורליך אׁן קיין אנשטרענגונג.

ממילא די ריכטונג פונעם מענטש, It's not about ארבעטן און טוישן און פארעכטן נאר פון אויסליידיגן, לאזן גיין, דיטעשמענט. its not about *דעגרייכן* זאכן אינדערויסן נאר איבער *אנטפלעקן* וואס איז שוין דא אינעווייניג אין די מענטש.

מען קען באטראכטן די קאנסענקווענצן פון אזא השקפה אויף אסאך תחומים פון לעבן. מען קען עס שטעלן אין קעגנזאץ סיי פון די אידישע-קריסטליכע פעסימיסטישע בליק פונעם מענטש יצר לב האדם רע מנעוריו, אל תאמין בעצמך עד יום מותך, די מענטש איז געבוירן מיט זינד וכו' וכו' און סיי פונעם נייטראלע בליק פון זשאן לאק פונעם מענטש אלץ א ליידיג בלאט וואס מען קען אים אויספארמען און כפי רצונך ורצון הסביבה, דאס איז אויך די השקפה פון ביהעביוריזם פונעם מענטש אלץ סעמי-ראבאט וואס די סביבה פארמירט כאוות רצונו.
די ערשטע השקפה האט דאמינירט בעיקר אין די מיטעאלטער די צווייטע איז די יסוד פון די וועסטערן עדיוקאציע. פון קליין בעיבי איז מען משקיע כוחות סיי די עלטערן און סיי די עדיוקאציע סיסטעם צו אויספארמען די קינד אין די וועג ווי די עלטערן ווילן און ווי די סביבה וויל. מען פיקעוועט אים אן מיט מאטריאל מען שטראפט אים מען באלוינט אים, מען בארייכערט אים מיט וויסנשאפט און מען פראבירט מיט כוח אריינשטופן דאס שטיקל plasticine אינעם ריכטיגן מאדעל עס זאל ארויסגעקומען א ארנטליכע מענטש.

You cannot improve it
If you try to change it, you will ruin it

למעשה איז ארויסגעקומען א שטיקל מגילה. דאס איז אינטיאטיוו און amature מחשבות געשריבן לויט מיין יעצטיגע פארשטאנד מיט האפענונג איך רעד צום זאך. איך קען באשטיין צו הערן ענקערע מחשבות איבער דעם.

When people see things as beautiful,
ugliness is created.
When people see things as good,
evil is created.
Being and non-being produce each other.
Difficult and easy complement each other.
Long and short define each other.
High and low oppose each other.
Fore and aft follow each other.
Therefore the Master
can act without doing anything
and teach without saying a word.
Things come her way and she does not stop them;
things leave and she lets them go.
She has without possessing,
and acts without any expectations.
When her work is done, she take no credit.
That is why it will last forever.

If something looks beautiful to you,
something else must be ugly.
If something seems good,
something else must seem bad.

You can’t have
something without nothing.
If no job is difficult,
then no job is easy.
Some things are up high
because other things are down low.
You know you’re listening to music
because it doesn’t sound like noise.
All that came first,
so this must be next.

The Masters get the job done
without moving a muscle
and get their point across
without saying a word.

When things around them fall apart,
they stay cool.
They don’t own much,
but they use whatever’s at hand.
They do the work
without expecting any favors.
When they’re done,
they move on to the next job.
That’s why their work is so damn good.

people will become overly competitive.
If you overvalue possessions,
people will begin to steal.
Do not display your treasures
or people will become envious.
The Master leads by
emptying people's minds,
filling their bellies,
weakening their ambitions,
and making them become strong.
Preferring simplicity and freedom from desires,
avoiding the pitfalls of knowledge and wrong action.
For those who practice not-doing,
everything will fall into place.

The Master leads
by clearing the crap
out of people’s heads

He shows you how to forget
what you know and what you want,
so nobody can push you around.
If you think you’ve got the answers,
he’ll mess with your head.

Stop doing stuff all the time,
and watch what happens.

The Master doesn't take sides;
she treats everyone like a straw dog.
The space between Heaven and Earth is like a bellows;
it is empty, yet has not lost its power.
The more it is used, the more it produces;
the more you talk of it, the less you comprehend.
It is better not to speak of things you do not understand.

Use all you want,
there’s plenty more
where that came from.

You can’t see Tao, but it’s there.
Damned if I know where it came from.
It’s just always been around.

Tao’s neutral:
it doesn’t worry about good or evil.
The Masters are neutral:
they treat everyone the same.
Lao Tzu said Tao is like a bellows:
It’s empty,
but it could help set the world on fire.
If you keep using Tao, it works better.
If you keep talking about it,
it won’t make any sense.
