ק/פ פון בארי דייטש אויף טוויטער, דברים כדרבונות:
Some people still ask:
“Why is Nechemya Weberman still a danger?”
Or:
“Isn’t 13 years in prison enough? He’s old now. He won’t harm anyone again.”
And the most insulting one:
“The community will make sure he won’t hurt children anymore.”
Really?
Did everyone forget who enabled him, who covered for him, who protected him, and who attacked the victims from day one?
Let’s talk about what actually happened:

This man didn’t abuse a child once.
He abused for years, under a system of protection, power, and silence.

When the case began, people didn’t protect the victim — they attacked us.
The Berger brothers ripped my kosher certificate off my window, publicly trying to intimidate me into silence, sending a message to the entire community: “Support the abuser or be punished.”

And then came the bribes and threats.
Rubin — a man deeply connected to the community — went to prison for six months after offering $500,000 to get the victim to drop the case and leave the state.
Yes, they tried to buy our silence.

During the trial, four men were arrested for photographing the victim on the witness stand — a disgusting attempt to intimidate her.

We received death threats.
We were harassed.
We were cornered.
The victim, her family, and my family were targeted simply for telling the truth.

And after he was convicted, instead of supporting victims, the same leaders launched a full campaign to “save” him.
They even campaigned for his release before the trial, and they never stopped.

Even in prison, he was visited and praised by Satmar rabbis.
He gave “lectures.”
He wrote weekly letters to Monroe as if he were a spiritual leader suffering martyrdom.
Zero remorse.
Zero responsibility.
Zero apology to the victims or their families.
And now we’re supposed to trust the same people who:

Fundraised for him

Protected him

Attacked the survivor

Tried to silence us

Bribed us

Threatened us

Stripped my business certification

Never apologized

NEVER protected children
Now they say, “Don’t worry, he won’t hurt anyone again”?
Absolutely not.
If he walks free now, the SAME leaders will:
✔ Celebrate him
✔ Parade him
✔ Restore his influence
✔ Give him access to families and children
✔ Rewrite him as a hero “who survived injustice”
And the survivor — who already endured a horrifying trial 13 years ago — will have to watch as the DA’s Office hands power back to the man who destroyed her childhood.
A man with a decades-long pattern of abuse, full community protection, and ZERO remorse is not safe.
Not for our children.
Not for ANY children.
Not for his own family.
Not for anyone.
This is why we are fighting.
This is why he cannot be released.
This is why the DA must do its job and stop this disaster before it happens.
If he walks out, this case becomes a blueprint for every abuser watching.
And we will NOT let that happen.
